Dr. Aaliyah Finley
DVM
Dr. Aaliyah Finley joined AMC Hernando in June 2025, bringing with her a deep passion for animal care and a bold vision for the future of veterinary medicine. A proud graduate of Tuskegee University, she earned her undergraduate degree in 2019 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2023.
Dr. Finley’s calling to work with animals began in childhood, inspired by the comfort, loyalty, and healing presence they offer. At AMC Hernando—a trusted leader in compassionate, community-focused veterinary care—she is thriving in a hands-on, high-quality clinical environment that aligns with her mission to be both a skilled clinician and a fierce advocate for every animal she treats.
With a special interest in exotic animals and animal-assisted emotional wellness, Dr. Finley aspires to one day create a holistic support center that connects human healing with the therapeutic power of animals. Her no-nonsense, result-driven approach ensures that pets receive the highest standard of care, while their owners feel seen, heard, and supported.
Outside of her clinical role, Dr. Finley enjoys reading, crocheting, crafting, singing with her church choir, movie nights, and traveling. At home, her heart belongs to Buttercup, her energetic pitbull–miniature schnauzer mix who keeps her on her toes.
Fun fact: Though she’s fearless in the exam room, Dr. Finley is allergic to ant bites!
